We’ve got Veganuary covered with these great recipes

The New Year is the perfect time to try some new healthy habits out for size.  And, with the benefits of eating plant-based foods so well documented, there’s no better way to get a head-start on your healthy year than trying out Veganuary!

While going completely meat-free could be a bit of a stretch for some of us, swapping just a few meals per week for a vegan alternative is a great step in the right direction. The best part? With so many amazing cafes and restaurants offering great plant-based options nowadays, and a world of creative vegan recipes at your fingertips, going meat-free doesn’t have to mean missing out on anything.

Ready to try incorporating some new vegan meals into your kitchen? Why not start by trying one of our go-to favorites:

Chia & Zucchini Meatballs
Perfect for a hearty winter lunch or dinner, try this reimagined meat-free version of the classic Italian pasta. For an extra healthy option, swap the standard spaghetti for zucchini noodles or squash spaghetti.

High Fiber Pizza
With this vegan, fiber-enriched rendition, pizza doesn’t have to be a guilty pleasure anymore! Top with your favourite vegetables, add spices and seasoning for extra flavor, or add a little vegan cheese to get the almost-real-thing experience.

Vegan French Toast
Breakfast, lunch, dessert, or whenever you like! This vegan French Toast is delicious with sweet berries, apple juice, and the spicy warmth of ginger.

Broccoli Soup with Hazelnuts
This is one of our hands-down favorite dishes for this time of year. Make a big batch of this warming, filling soup and store in the fridge for up to a week. Broccoli is packed with valuable vitamins and nutrients, while hazelnuts give a rich nutty flavour. Simply remember to leave off the cream fraiche when serving and hey presto – vegan!

Turmeric Coconut Curry
Impress your friends or family with this rich, spicy and hearty curry. Turmeric delivers not only a beautiful yellow hue, but also boasts powerful anti-inflammatory properties making it a wonderful immune booster for these cooler months.
