Chia Ground Seed 350g

Details

We bring chia to you in its simplest form. Pure, clean and sun ripened.

We let our chia ripen naturally in the sun and use gravity-fed irrigation to achieve the highest level of nutritional quality. We guarantee the levels of omega 3, fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals in every seed we produce, with full traceability right back to the paddock the seed was grown in. Black and white chia seeds are nutritionally identical, the only difference being the seed coat colour.

We recommend one tablespoon (15g) of chia, every day. Sprinkle onto your muesli or cereals, into your salads or smoothies, or add to your baking.

We use a unique, natural process to carefully grind the seed.

Why is Chia good for me?

We developed Chia Ground Seed in response to the growing number of consumers adding chia to smoothies, soups and porridges.

Chia Ground Seed contains the same nutritional profile as whole chia seeds.

Chia is the highest plant-based source of omega-3, fiber and protein. The protein in chia contains all nine essential amino acids, making it a ‘complete’ protein. This is incredibly rare for a plant based source of protein, and makes chia particularly beneficial for vegetarians and vegans. Amino acids are the building blocks of our bodies, and are essential for healthy muscles, hair, skin and nails.

Omega-3 ALA is a valuable nutrient for heart function and overall health and vitality, while chia’s high levels of both soluble and insoluble fiber can aid digestion and can help you feel fuller for longer.
