It’s 6am. You’re up, out of bed and off for your morning run. You get back to your apartment, enjoy a long shower, and tuck into your healthy chia breakfast oats and fresh fruit, which you prepared the night before. You head into the office for a 9am meeting, awake, energized and ready to face the day.

Right?

Let’s be real: most of us barely have time for a quick shower before dragging ourselves off to work or study. The ‘perfect morning’ routine is a great concept, but it’s just not realistic a lot of the time.

If you’re chasing the Z’s and those extra few mins in bed feel like a non-negotiable, you’re not alone. But it doesn’t mean you have to miss breakfast or resort to some sugary pastry from your en-route coffeeshop. Desk breakfasts are common for so many of us and, thankfully, there’s a ton of healthy, nutritious options that you won’t be ashamed to chow down on in front of your colleagues.
