A Feast for the Fourth

This past week we celebrated one of our favorite national holidays: July 4th, or Independence Day. Asides from the actual reason to celebrate (hello, freedom!) we love this mid-summer holiday because it’s a great excuse to gather with friends and family, enjoy some delicious food, and watch the spectacular fireworks display. Interesting side note: did you know that fireworks have been used to celebrate our independence since the first ever Independence Day commemoration, way back in 1777? It’s kind of nice how something things never change.

To share the July 4th love, we’ve created this round-up of our favorite summer picnic or bbq party plates. Whether celebrating something special or simply catching up with friends, these delicious recipes will make sure you’re the real hero this summer.
